On 5th August 2026, Ms. Raheema Sultana delivered a training session on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the teachers of Zameer Akhter School.
During the session, she provided an introduction to the SDGs and highlighted their importance in promoting sustainable development and creating a better future for all. She discussed the SDGs that are most relevant to schools, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG 16).
The session also focused on how schools, teachers, and students can contribute to achieving these goals through classroom learning, daily practices, environmental responsibility, and community engagement. Teachers were encouraged to integrate SDG concepts into their lessons and activities to help students understand their role in building a more sustainable and responsible society.
