PODA and members of its Rural Women Leaders Network Pakistan strongly condemn US attack on a girls primary school in Minab, Iran that killed more than 168 school girls. For a country that has supported girls education in all regions of the world through USAID programs, this attack is a complete reversal of US’s own principles and a clear violation of international humanitarian law. We demand accountability for this heinous crime against humanity and demand an immediate end to war against Iran. We recommend that all disputes must be settled peacefully through negotiations and diplomacy and war should be avoided in all parts of the world. The lives of all citizens in all countries must be respected as equal human beings.
