On Wednesday, 4th February 2026, PODA successfully conducted an awareness-raising session in Village Nara Mughlan, Chakwal engaging 25 women participants from the community.

The session focused on:
✔️ Importance and benefits of CNIC and Birth Registration
✔️ Challenges women face during the registration process and practical solutions
✔️ The vital role of women in democracy through voter registration and electoral participation

Women actively shared their experiences and discussed the barriers they faced in obtaining legal identity documents. The session provided practical guidance on how legal identity strengthens women’s rights, improves access to essential services, and enhances their decision-making power within families and communities. Participants were encouraged to register themselves and their family members and to use their vote as a powerful tool for representation, leadership, and community development.
