Empowering a Brighter Future
District Nankana Sahib & Khanewal, Punjab | Child Protection | Girls’ Empowerment
Saadia Zahoor, a 14-year-old girl from District Khanewal, was at risk of early marriage. During a PODA Pakistan awareness session in Union Council Haft Madram, District Nankana, focal person Rani Shameem educated community members about the harms of child marriage.
Saadia’s sister-in-law, Zobia Mohsin, attended the session and took a courageous step — she ensured Saadia was moved to Nankana Sahib and enrolled her in a sewing school to build her skills and independence.
Today, Saadia is confidently learning and progressing toward a safe and empowered future.
One awareness session changed a girl’s life — from risk to resilience.
