PODA Pakistan, with their partners, organized and participated in Labour Day rallies in different cities of Pakistan to honour the Chicago martyrs. Women from different cities, civil society members, and rights activists came together to speak up for fair wages and safe working conditions for all workers, especially rural women.

The rallies called for equal pay for women workers, safety at workplaces, and access to social security and group insurance. Speakers shared that rural women are often paid less and face exploitation. Fair wages and respect for women workers are important goals that must be achieved.
