Around 80 female students from grades 6, 7, and 8, along with their teachers, attended the session. The activity aimed to equip young girls with essential knowledge and healthy practices related to their physical wellbeing.
Mukhtiar Shaheen, President of the Noor Women Welfare Organization, and Abida Noreen, Senior LHV at the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic Mari Indus, jointly facilitated the session. They addressed students’ questions and provided guidance to those facing challenges related to menstruation and associated health issues.
The initiative was widely appreciated by teachers and students for effectively addressing important yet often overlooked health concerns faced by adolescent girls.
