PODA Pakistan proudly hosted Ms. Shahida Rehmani, MNA and Chairperson, Women’s Parliamentary Caucus, Pakistan, during Day 1 of the 18th Annual Rural Women’s Leadership Training Conference, taking place in Islamabad from 15–17 October 2025. 🇵🇰

In her powerful address, Ms. Rehmani emphasized the urgent need to end child marriage and highlighted her role in promoting the implementation of child marriage restraint laws in Sindh, as well as contributing to policy reforms and advocacy for girls’ education, health, and protection.

This Educational and Advocacy Session for the Rights of the Girl Child also spotlighted SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality) — focusing on access to education, menstrual hygiene, nutritional health, and inclusivity for girls with disabilities
